Get ready for the Kamloops Steam-Off, the city's second annual Latte Art Competition and an electric celebration of coffee artistry. Join us for a high-energy evening of head-to-head pours as local baristas battle for the title of Kamloops' top latte artist at Amplified Cafe.
Event Details
What: The 2nd Kamloops Latte Art Competition.
When: October 22nd at 7 PM.
Where: Amplified Cafe at 465 Victoria St
The Competition: Rules of Engagement
This is a fast-paced, sudden-death bracket tournament where competitors will go cup-for-cup to advance.
Competitor Limit: The tournament is capped at 16 competitors.
Registration: All baristas must register online to secure a spot.
Eligibility:
A maximum 2 competitors are allowed from any single coffee shop.
Coffee shop owners are not permitted to compete. This event is for the baristas!
Competitor Buy-In:$20. This fee includes your entry into the competition and
one beverage (beer, cider, or coffee).
Prizes
The pressure is on, and the rewards are well worth the steam!
First Place:$100 CASH and $100 in local gift certificates (GC's).
Second Place:$100 in local gift certificates (GC's).
Spectators: The Best Seat in the House
Can't pour a perfect tulip? No problem! Come cheer on your favourite baristas in a fun, lively atmosphere.
Spectator Admission:$10.
Spectator Perk: Your admission gets you one beverage (beer, cider, or coffee).
Food: Delicious bites will be available from the incredible Salty Fig Catering Co..
